Mobile Suit Gundam SEED

In the year 71 AD (After Calamity Dates), humanity has evolved into distinct subspecies - Naturals on Earth and the genetically enhanced Coordinators inhabiting orbital colonies called PLANTs. Among these Coordinators, Kira Yamato, a young and seemingly ordinary individual, finds himself at the heart of an internecine conflict when his neutral space colony is brutally assaulted by ZAFT, the military force representing the PLANTs' interests. Unraveling the layers of deception and intrigue driving this war, Kira must navigate a world where genetic superiority defines society and allegiances are constantly challenged, while grappling with his own unique abilities and the burden they place on his shoulders.
