Josie and the Pussycats

Josie and the Pussycats is an animated television series based on Archie Comics' comic book of the same name created by Dan DeCarlo. Produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for weekend morning entertainment, the original show aired 16 episodes on CBS from 1970 to 1972 and was later reimagined as Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space. Over six years, these shows were broadcasted across three networks: CBS, ABC, and NBC.The series follows an all-girl pop music band who travels the world performing concerts while engaging in a variety of strange adventures, espionage, and mysterious incidents. At its core, the group consists of Josie, a sensible lead singer and guitarist; Valerie, her intelligent tambourine player; and Melody, a rather naive blonde drummer. Supporting characters include their timid manager Alexander Cabot III, his cunning sister Alexandra, her feline companion Sebastian, and strong roadie Alan.
