Gannibal

Police officer Daigo Agawa seeks refuge for his family in the secluded mountain village of Kuge after an unfortunate incident marred his career. The seemingly peaceful and isolated community provides a chance to heal and start anew, despite the eerie disappearance of a prior officer assigned there. Tranquility is shattered when the body of an elderly woman is discovered on the mountainside; the Goto family, who resides in the village, claims she was attacked by a bear. Daigo, however, detects human bite marks, casting doubt on the official narrative. As events unfold, it becomes increasingly apparent that the village of Kuge harbors unsettling secrets beneath its serene facade.
