In the year 2035, Japan is grappling with the consequences of a catastrophic event known as "Burst". The government hastily cordons off the once-celebrated research city, leaving its inhabitants stranded.Fast forward two years and 15-year-old Aiko Tachibana has been struggling to come to terms with the loss of her family in this same incident.
