Hotaru Hinase, a spirited freshman in high school, navigates through the typical ups and downs of adolescence - family, friendship, and the complexities of romance. Though she has her fair share of camaraderie, Hotaru's love life remains uneventful until she encounters Hananoi, a charming yet heartbroken classmate. In an act of kindness, Hotaru offers him comfort during a difficult time, which unexpectedly results in a romantic interest from Hananoi.
