Wintersleepers

In a picturesque mountain village, Rebecca, a talented translator, shares a cozy villa with her ski instructor boyfriend Marco. Their close friendship with local nurse Laura brings an eclectic mix of characters into their lives. When cinema projectionist Rene steals Marco's car for a joyride and crashes into Theo, the grieving father of a young girl who falls into a coma following the accident, chaos ensues. Rene, struggling with partial short-term memory loss as a result of the crash, begins a complicated relationship with Laura, unaware of the devastation he has caused to those around him. As Marco tirelessly searches for his stolen car and confronts the man who killed Theo's daughter, the intertwined lives of these individuals are tested by secrets, betrayal, and personal growth.
