The movie follows Michael, a man haunted by an incident in his youth that he's worked hard to leave behind. Years ago, he was involved in the murder of one of his classmates, and along with others, covered up the truth to keep themselves from facing justice. As he has built a new life away from his reservation and the painful memories it evokes, Michael thought he had successfully distanced himself from that dark chapter. However, when another man who knows about the murder resurfaces and seeks retribution for past wrongs, Michael is thrown back into the turmoil of his fractured past.Determined to protect those around him - his wife and his boss who have no connection to his violent past - Michael embarks on a perilous journey to confront the demons from his past. He must balance his desire for self-preservation with his loyalty to the people in his life that he cherishes. As the danger intensifies, so does the emotional toll on Michael as he's forced to relive the events of that fateful night and confront the guilt that has long plagued him.
