White Nights

The film follows the harrowing journey of a defiant dancer after his plane crash in Siberia forces him into the clutches of Soviet control. Having defected from the USSR for artistic freedom in the West, he is now held captive and under constant surveillance by the KGB, who attempt to coerce him into performing once again for their prestigious Kirov Academy of Ballet. Determined to escape this oppressive environment and reach the safety of the American Embassy, the dancer forms an alliance with a resourceful black expatriate and his Russian wife, expecting a newborn child. Together, they navigate the dangerous landscape of Soviet control and conspiracies, highlighting themes of friendship, artistic perseverance, and the lengths one will go for freedom.
