Urotsukidōji: Legend of the Overfiend

In a world where urban Japan hides the coexistence of two lesser-known civilizations - the demonic Makai and the hybrid Jujinkai - lies a legend that every 3000 years, a supreme being known as the "Choujin" will manifest itself to restore balance in the realm. In contemporary Japan, a Jujinkai named Amano Jyaku has uncovered evidence of the Choujin within Tatsuo Nagumo, an average high school slacker. As Amano races against time with his sister Megumi and their comrade Kuroko to protect both Nagumo and his new girlfriend Akemi Ito, they confront the Makai - a group who perceive Nagumo as not the Choujin but rather an evil force threatening life on Earth.
