Une époque formidable

Michel Berthier, a senior executive in the mattress industry, has unexpectedly been let go from his job. To avoid revealing the truth to Juliette, his partner, he resorts to taking on debt to maintain their middle-class lifestyle and showering her with gifts. However, he can't keep up the pretense for much longer, and decides it's time to leave home.Down on his luck and penniless, Michel encounters Toubib, Mimosa, and Crayon, three homeless individuals who share a unique bond while taking care of their personal hygiene in the restrooms of Gare de l'Est train station. Taking pity on him or perhaps seeing an opportunity, they decide to take Michel under their wing and initiate him into their unconventional way of life.As Michel struggles to adapt, a plan forms among this unlikely group: to burglarize Michel's former workplace - the mattress company - in order to steal duvets and beds for themselves. This heist could lead to redemption or disaster, as the lives of these characters become intertwined in unexpected ways.
