Description:
In this unexpected survival story, Lena Schneider, a victim of strict antiauthoritarian education, finds herself stranded on a deserted island with Cem Öztürk, a stereotypically macho Turkish man. As they struggle to adapt and survive in their new environment, Lena initially clashes with Cem's brash behavior. However, as they confront various challenges together - including an encounter with a venomous jellyfish - Lena begins to see beyond the surface, discovering the romantic heart beneath Cem's cool facade.Meanwhile, Lena and Cem's parents, psychologist Doris and Metin Öztürk, join forces in a desperate attempt to locate their missing children. As both generations navigate unfamiliar territory - both physically on the island and metaphorically as they come to understand each other's cultures - they embark on an unintended crash course in basic Turkish language and customs. This film delves into themes of cultural differences, personal growth, and the importance of communication between generations while keeping audiences engaged with its thrilling survival story and unexpected romantic twists.
