In the outskirts of Timbuktu, a Malian city under the control of militant Islamic rebels, daily life has taken a drastic turn. The imposition of Sharia law disrupts the routine and challenges the way people live, love, and work. Against this backdrop, an ordinary cattleman finds himself entangled in a conflict he never sought out. A chance altercation with a fisherman leads to fatal consequences, turning his world upside down as the strict regime's consequences catch up with him. Through the lens of this tale, the film explores themes of resistance, individual freedom, and the human spirit in a time of unrelenting extremism.
