In the heart of 19th century Europe, we follow Karl Marx at just 26 years old as he embarks on an exile journey with his wife Jenny. Amidst their travels, they find themselves in Paris where Karl meets Friedrich Engels - an industrialist's son turned investigator of the harsh origins of the British working class. It is here that Engels, known for his dandyish lifestyle, provides the missing link to Marx's burgeoning world view. As political turmoil and censorship threaten their every step, they persevere, navigating through riots and periods of political upheaval, eventually taking the helm in shaping the labor movement into a modern force for change.
