In a small town nestled in Sucre, Colombia, a grieving vallenato singer mourns the loss of his wife and decides it's time to part ways with his beloved accordion, believed by some to be cursed. Joining him on an emotional pilgrimage is Fermín Morales, a young and impressionable admirer who aspires to follow in his footsteps. Their journey takes them through the picturesque landscapes of Northern Colombia, traversing town after town, as they embark on a quest to return the accordion to its alleged owner – an enigmatic master said to reside in the remote La Guajira desert. Along the way, these two individuals from different generations form an unlikely bond as they confront loss, find solace in music, and unravel the mysteries that surround their shared past.
