The War of the Worlds: Next Century

In a small town in Poland during Christmastime, Martians with extraordinary intelligence and ruthless nature invade the country, using humans as their pawns. Among the captives is Iron Ide, a struggling television newscaster who is unexpectedly appointed to serve as the voice of these extraterrestrial beings' propaganda. Initially following the script they provide, Iron finds himself subtly deviating from the messages given by his alien masters in an attempt to uncover truth and expose deceit. Unbeknownst to him, this defiance puts him at odds not just with the Martians but also with the oppressive regime on Earth that's using the alien invasion as a tool for control. The film explores themes of resistance, the power of the media, and the dangers of blind obedience in a thrilling and thought-provoking tale of survival, loyalty, and courage.
