The Van

In the heart of Dublin's working-class neighborhood, 'Bimbo' Reeves finds himself out of a job and facing an uncertain future. However, a serendipitous twist comes in the form of his redundancy payout which he decides to invest in a van for selling fish and chips. He partners up with his close friend Larry to embark on this new venture. Their business hits the ground running thanks to Ireland's unexpected success at the 1990 FIFA World Cup, but as Bimbo starts taking on a more authoritative role, the camaraderie between the two friends begins to erode, turning their once-thriving partnership into a tense struggle for balance.
