The Tunnel

In 2007, amidst Australia's ongoing battle with drought and water scarcity, the New South Wales government announces plans to tap into an unconventional source of water supply: millions of liters trapped within a network of abandoned train tunnels beneath the bustling city of Sydney. However, as progress on the project stalls inexplicably, whispers begin circulating about the mysterious disappearance of homeless individuals who sought refuge in these underground labyrinths. Despite official reassurances that no homeless people reside in the tunnels, investigative journalist Natasha senses a cover-up and decides to delve deeper into the story alongside her team - producer Pete, cameraman Steve, and sound technician Tangles. Together, they venture into the depths of Sydney's underbelly, unraveling a tangled web of government secrets that may hold the key to their city's survival, but could also unveil its darkest hidden truths.
