The Outing

In this supernatural thriller, an ancient genie finds itself unwittingly released from its prison when burglars break into an elderly woman's home. The thieves meet a gruesome end, and the lamp containing the powerful genie is transferred to a museum for further investigation. Little do they know that the presence of this otherworldly being will unleash a series of haunting events within their walls.The museum curator's daughter becomes inexplicably possessed by the genie, who begins manipulating her actions and inviting several friends to spend the night at the museum as a way to seek out more human companionship. But it isn't long before they realize that they're not alone, with other ethereal beings drawn to the powerful force within their midst. As the group attempts to unravel the mystery surrounding the possessed girl and the malevolent spirits inhabiting the museum, they find themselves in a race against time to seal away the ancient genie before it can wreak even greater havoc on their lives.
