Bob Rainsford, an experienced and famed hunter, faces his most daunting challenge yet when he becomes shipwrecked near a secluded island. The enigmatic Count Zaroff, who initially welcomes him as a guest, quickly reveals himself to be a dangerous game enthusiast – but not in the conventional sense. Instead of traditional sport, Zaroff has concocted a twisted pursuit where Rainsford and two other unfortunate shipwreck survivors, siblings Eve and Martin Towbridge, are hunted down like animals. The island's lush yet foreboding landscape serves as both playground and prison for this deadly game of cat and mouse, as the prey struggle to outsmart their ruthless predator in a desperate bid for survival.
