The Machine

In the midst of a tense Cold War era, Britain's Ministry of Defense is on the lookout for an edge over their adversaries. Vincent McCarthy, an intelligent computer programmer, unwittingly provides them with a potential solution in the form of The Machine - a highly advanced human cyborg with extraordinary physical strength and capabilities. However, when a minor programming bug leads to devastating consequences during the prototype's test run, McCarthy feels compelled to take matters into his own hands and continue his obsessive research away from prying eyes in an underground facility. As he strives to perfect The Machine, Vincent is forced to confront the moral implications of his work and question his loyalties amidst the looming shadow of global conflict.
