The Last New Year’s Eve

On New Year's Eve at "The Islands" condos, the residents prepare for their respective celebrations and encounters with chaos unfold. In one apartment, Guilia, an aging countess, discovers her husband's betrayal with her best friend while getting ready for a dinner party. Seething with anger, she devises a plan for revenge. Meanwhile, next door, a family eagerly readies their vintage Dodge car to cruise the streets, oblivious to the turmoil brewing around them.Elsewhere in the building, a call girl binds and gags a lawyer as three accomplices secretly plot to rob his office. In another unit, a distraught woman swallows pills in a desperate attempt to escape her lonely existence. Two young men, high on drugs, hide out in a bedroom with a dangerous secret - a stash of dynamite. As midnight draws near, each group finds themselves inexorably drawn towards a grotesque and tragic fate that will forever intertwine their lives.
