This intriguing comedy explores the mischief that ensues when a group of old friends, bound together by their annual New Year's Eve tradition at a public bathhouse, inadvertently find themselves entangled in a hilarious mix-up. As they indulge in their customary celebration and let loose with too much alcohol, two members of the group become unconscious - but that's only the beginning. When one friend, Sasha, must travel to Leningrad while another, Zhenya, mistakenly ends up going there instead, the ripple effect sets off a series of bizarre events that spiral out of control.Zhenya wakes up disoriented in Leningrad's airport, convinced he is still in his hometown of Moscow. In a hilarious turn of events, Zhenya hails a taxi and makes his way home, only to discover that the city's identical Soviet-style apartment complexes have led him to an apartment with a strikingly similar layout.
