In a not-too-distant future where technology has advanced to enable manipulation at the genetic level, Michelle finds herself in a constant struggle against those who wield this power for malevolent means: the DNA Hackers. These individuals are capable of remotely assassinating their victims by exploiting vulnerabilities within their genetic code, reducing once-thriving lives to cold, lifeless corpses with just a few lines of code. Michelle, an expert in her field, has devoted herself to eliminating these threats to society and protecting her younger brother, Jackie, from the dangers that lurk in this high-stakes world.However, when Jackie unwittingly becomes entangled in a petty robbery, he finds himself thrown headfirst into the treacherous underworld of DNA Hackers, Shylocks (loan sharks), and ruthless gangs. As he navigates this new reality, the line between right and wrong becomes increasingly blurred, forcing Michelle to confront the moral ambiguity that lies at the heart of her own profession.
