Nestled in the tranquil Swiss countryside, Nora leads a serene life as a housewife and mother of two boys. Shielded from the seismic societal shifts spurred by 1968, her quaint village maintains a harmonious rhythm. However, when Nora takes up the fight for women's suffrage - an issue set to be voted on in an upcoming ballot on February 7, 1971 - she faces an unexpected challenge. As a well-liked and reserved individual, her decision to publicly advocate for women's rights disrupts the equilibrium of her peaceful existence, challenging not only herself but also the dynamics within her community. The film explores Nora's journey towards asserting her beliefs amidst the traditional norms of her village and society at large while navigating the complexities of being a wife, mother, and an activist during this pivotal moment in history.
