The Circle

Set against the backdrop of 1950s Zurich, the film delves into the heartrending tale of a young teacher caught between his conservative upbringing and an all-consuming love for a transvestite stage performer. As he grapples with societal expectations and his own growing attraction to men, our protagonist stumbles upon a nascent gay organization that would go on to become a cornerstone of the European gay liberation movement.
