In the picturesque town of Port Dundas, Detective Hazel Micallef's daily routine consists of solving minor disputes and petty crimes. However, this tranquil existence is disrupted when she encounters a series of brutal murders in the surrounding countryside. As she delves deeper into the investigation, it becomes clear that the killer has a disturbing motive rooted in a higher power or belief system. Hazel must navigate her way through the labyrinthine web of clues and confront this deeply disturbed antagonist who believes they're carrying out some divine mission.
