In the bustling city of Monterrey in 2013, we follow the story of Poncho, a young college student navigating through life with an unwavering sense of mischief. Alongside his equally adventurous friend El Greñas, they embark on an ordinary quest to obtain some weed from their local supplier, La Bomba.Their journey takes an unexpected turn when La Bomba runs out of stock, thrusting the duo into a series of events that would change their lives forever. In pursuit of his much-needed fix, El Greñas agrees to join La Bomba on a hunt for more weed from another dealer known as El Perro.Unfortunately, Poncho's commitments back home force him to cut the escapade short and return to his family, which leads to an unwelcome encounter with kidnappers. La Bomba, driven by greed and carelessness, snatches Poncho and El Greñas, taking possession of Poncho's car and phone as collateral.Unbeknownst to him, La Bomba's ransom request of one million dollars for Poncho's release will set in motion a chain of deadly consequences that could not have been anticipated by anyone involved. The film explores themes of friendship, family, and the impact of dangerous decisions made under pressure while painting a vivid picture of life in a city plagued with crime and violence.
