The Baby of Mâcon

In the heart of the 17th century, the young aristocrat Cosimo is invited to attend a church play staged in his honor. The performance unfolds with an unexpected twist - a grotesque elderly woman miraculously gives birth to a stunning baby boy. Seizing this opportunity, the newborn's older sister sets forth a cunning plan. She starts selling blessings from her infant brother, even going as far as claiming she is his mother through divine intervention. However, when greed pushes her to manipulate the affections of the bishop's son, she unwittingly unleashes the Church's vengeful wrath in a tale that blends deception and religious fervor.
