Taipei Story

In the bustling cityscape of Taipei, we follow the journey of a young woman striving to chart a course for her future amidst the complexities of modern life. As she grapples with the challenges before her, she turns towards her boyfriend Lung, hoping that their relationship can provide the stability and direction she craves. However, Lung's own struggles with his past – a blend of nostalgia for his childhood baseball days and an unwavering adherence to traditional values of loyalty – cause him to become entangled in a web of financial troubles. This leads him to exhaust his life savings in a desperate attempt to bail out her father, further complicating their relationship and the future they envisioned together.
