FBI agent Frank Lacrosse embarks on a harrowing journey when he becomes convinced that his son has been kidnapped by a notorious serial killer hiding in Amarillo, Texas. Despite being officially removed from the case due to its personal nature, Frank relentlessly pursues the murderer, much to the concern of local sheriff Buck Olmstead. As another victim surfaces at a nearby car garage, Frank finds himself closer than ever to finding the elusive killer and bringing him to justice – all in an effort to save his son and bring peace to his haunted life. The film explores themes of obsession, desperation, and the lengths one man will go to protect his family.
