Sweet Smell of Success

"Sway" delves into the world of power and influence as seen through the eyes of J.J. Hunsecker, a respected New York City newspaper writer who wields considerable sway over public opinion with his Broadway column. However, when it comes to his younger sister Susan's relationship choices, his control seems to slip away. In a desperate bid to break up Susan's romance with aspiring jazz guitarist Steve Dallas, J.J. enlists the help of sly and resourceful publicist Sidney Falco. As they navigate the treacherous waters of manipulation and deceit, the line between right and wrong becomes dangerously blurred in their pursuit to achieve the ultimate power play: controlling someone else's heart.
