In this lighthearted romantic comedy, Summer Holiday follows the story of a young Hong Kong woman, played by Sammi Cheng, who unexpectedly loses her job and discovers her boyfriend's infidelity. Determined to start anew, she travels to a picturesque island in Malaysia with the intention of selling her half-ownership of a beachfront property gifted to her by her cousin. Unbeknownst to her, he had previously sold his share to his best friend, portrayed by Richie Ren, in order to settle debts.As she embarks on convincing him to join forces and sell the shared property, they find themselves drawn to each other amidst the beautiful island surroundings. Their initial professional motives gradually transform into a genuine connection, as they navigate through the ups and downs of life together.
