Suffer, You Prick

Four friends, expelled from a religious school, find solace in their shared passion for music as they transition to a mixed center. They form the band Los Residuos and unwittingly become rivals with Rocky Lacoste, a popular figure at their new school who also happens to be dating David's girlfriend, Patty. This lighthearted musical, directed by Manuel Summers, captures the essence of youthful camaraderie while exploring themes like competition, love and friendship. The film takes inspiration from the real-life success story of Men G, a popular pop group led by the director's son David, adding an extra layer of authenticity to its musical performances.
