Splendor

In the nostalgic film, we follow Jordan, played by Mastroianni, as he navigates the challenges of maintaining his inherited family business, the aging Splendor movie theater. Despite its declining state and constant financial burdens, Jordan's passion for cinema fuels his dedication to preserving this piece of history. Alongside him is Luigi, the projectionist (Troisi), who shares in this dream, and Chantale, the kind-hearted usherette (Vlady), forming a unique camaraderie amongst them. However, when the formidable businessman Lo Fazio (Piperno) swoops in with plans to repurpose Splendor as a furniture store, Jordan's resolve is tested. The film takes viewers on an emotional journey through the bittersweet memories and challenges that come with holding onto the past while facing the inevitability of change, all set against the backdrop of a bygone era in cinema.
