This film explores the unsettling consequences of perceived inadequacy through the eyes of Elias, a young man grappling with rejection after failing to secure a coveted part in a campus production. Humiliated by the success of his replacement – a naturally gifted athlete – Elias embarks on an increasingly intense physical transformation. Driven by a desire to embody a version of masculinity he believes will earn him acceptance and validation, he pushes his body to its limits, blurring the lines between self-improvement and compulsion.
