Rust

In a sultry summer season, a series of brutal crimes casts a dark shadow over the lives of a group of children who must confront the harsh realities of adulthood far too early. As two young girls fall victim to a horrifying act, the surviving children recognize the suspect but are met with disbelief and dismissal from their elders. Bound by an unspoken oath of loyalty and friendship, they remain silent, unwilling to betray each other. However, when one of their own friends disappears into the clutches of the perpetrator, a fierce determination ignites within them. These young souls are forced to navigate through a labyrinth of fear, mistrust, and danger as they realize that they must band together and take matters into their own hands to save their friend, and potentially themselves, from an unimaginable fate.
