Rubikon

In an ambitious attempt to secure Earth's future, biologist Hannah teams up with researchers Gavin and Dimitri at the Rubikon space station. Their goal is to develop an algae-based system that could sustain humanity with oxygen and sustenance indefinitely. However, their mission takes a terrifying turn when the planet below them vanishes into a poisonous fog, severing communication lines. As they grapple with the possibility of being the last humans alive, they're confronted with difficult decisions: should they activate the self-preservation mode and abandon Earth for good? Or muster courage to face the unknown by embarking on a perilous journey back to their home planet, regardless of the risks involved?
