Road to Rio

Scat Sweeney and Hot Lips Barton, two unemployed musicians on the lookout for their next adventure, accidentally set fire to a circus tent and flee the scene by stowing away on a ship bound for Rio de Janeiro. During their voyage, they encounter Lucia, a woman who initially thanks them but later betrays them by turning them over to the ship's captain. Scat and Hot Lips soon realize that Lucia has been hypnotized into going through a forced marriage with a wealthy man upon arriving in Rio. Fueled by their desire to do the right thing, these two unlikely heroes embark on a mission to stop the wedding and bring the criminals to justice.
