Poetic Justice

In "Justice," a deeply emotional journey follows a young hairdresser grappling with loss and heartache as she navigates the complexities of love and friendship. With a broken-down car preventing her attendance at an important Oakland convention, she is offered a lift by her close friend Iesha and Iesha's boyfriend, Chicago. Joining them on the road trip is Chicago's affable co-worker Lucky, with whom Justice initially experiences tension but eventually grows closer as they spend time together. As the quartet embarks on their journey through the vibrant landscapes of Northern California, Justice finds herself confronted with the question of whether she can open her heart again to love and trust after such unimaginable loss.
