Native Son

Bigger Thomas, a young African American man, is in search of something more than the life he currently leads. He finds an opportunity when he secures a job with a prominent and affluent Chicago family. Little does he know that this simple decision will dramatically change the trajectory of his existence and expose him to previously unseen worlds.The film delves into themes of race, class, and societal expectations as it follows Bigger's journey from his initial naivety about the upper echelons of society through to his eventual awakening. Through his experiences working for this influential family, he begins to question whether the American Dream is truly attainable for everyone, regardless of their background or skin color.
