Mutiny on the Buses

In the delightful comedy, we follow the story of bus driver Stan Butler as he becomes engaged to Suzy, much to the chagrin of her family - Mum, son-in-law Arthur, and daughter Olive. The main concern for this unconventional foursome is how they will manage financially with Stan's income absent from their lives. This issue is suddenly resolved when Arthur loses his job, prompting Stan to suggest an unusual solution: Arthur should learn to drive a bus. Surprisingly, this plan comes to fruition, leading to Arthur securing a job as well.Stan's innovative spirit doesn't stop there; he devises a scheme to earn extra money for the family by blackmailing the Depot Manager into allowing Arthur to be the driver on a lucrative Special Tours Bus. As Stan takes the inspector on a trial run to Windsor Safari Park, it appears as though their plan is unfolding seamlessly.
