Monstrum

In the medieval kingdom of Joseon, ancient Korea during the 16th century, political upheaval reigns supreme as King Yeonsan-gun's cruel rule is violently toppled by his half-brother Jung-jong in 1506. Jung-jong's tenure is fraught with treason and deceit, leading the nation into an endless cycle of unrest. Amidst this chaos, supernatural tales swirl through the kingdom in 1528 as whispers of a mysterious creature called Monstrum reach the royal palace. This mythical being is believed by the peasants to avenge the innocent and punish those guilty of tyranny, making its emergence an intriguing yet chilling prospect for the power-hungry rulers.
