In a tale of survival and self-discovery, Fei finds himself in a precarious situation as he engages in illicit activities to provide for his family. Despite their financial dependency on him, his loved ones are quick to distance themselves from the life he leads. This rift in their relationships forces Fei into an introspective journey and ultimately crosses paths with Long, an unyielding character who breathes new vigor into his world-weary existence. However, this fresh start is challenged when Xiaolai, a figure from his past, resurfaces and confronts him about the guilt he'd left buried. Through love, friendship, and facing one's inner demons, Fei is forced to reconcile his present with his past, in order to build a more meaningful future.
