Midsommar

Six anthropology students journey to Sweden to immerse themselves in an ancient summer festival held only once every ninety years. The event holds personal significance for one of them, being a native of the remote village where the celebration takes place. As they embark on what was supposed to be an idyllic and illuminating vacation under constant sunlight, things take a sinister turn as the enigmatic locals welcome them to partake in their peculiar and unsettling festival rituals. What began as an educational adventure quickly spirals into a dark and unnerving tale of cultural discovery and personal transformation that challenges their understanding of human nature and community bonds.
