Messengers 2: The Scarecrow

John Rollins, a hardworking farmer in dire financial straits, faces numerous challenges as crows ravage his cornfield and the lack of irrigation wreaks havoc on his crops. Adding to his troubles are personal strains with his wife Mary who's finding solace in her friendship with Tommy, and an impending foreclosure on their farm. Just when things seem bleakest, John stumbles upon a hidden compartment in the barn containing an eerie scarecrow that his son Michael insists must be destroyed.Their quiet life takes an unexpected turn when neighbor Jude Weatherby drops by with a six-pack of beer for John and convinces him to place the sinister-looking scarecrow in the cornfield. Unexplained events soon follow: crows mysteriously disappear from the fields, the water pump magically begins functioning again, and even the banker threatening their mortgage meets an untimely demise. While his farm flourishes, John becomes increasingly uneasy, sensing a dark presence on his land that could put his beloved family in peril.
