Marriage Is Alive and Well

The film follows a distinguished wedding photographer, played by former NFL star Joe Namath, as he navigates his own tumultuous marriage while documenting the unique love stories of various couples. Through Namath's reflective narration, we meet three distinct pairs: Judd Hirsch and Melinda Dillon, who have been married and divorced multiple times and are on the verge of repeating their mistakes; a newlywed couple struggling with the balance between freedom and commitment; and Jack Albertson, an aging comedian seeking to marry his much younger secretary despite the disapproval of his son. Each of these unconventional tales interweaves themes of hope, adversity, and romance in the context of holy matrimony, ultimately painting a vivid portrait of modern love through the lens of a seasoned photographer's experiences.
