In this post-apocalyptic tale set in the arid Australian Outback, Max Rockatansky resumes his role as a righteous drifter roaming the desolate roads in search of precious gasoline reserves. Facing him and fellow survivors at a makeshift fuel depot are the unconventional troops led by the enigmatic Lord Humungus, an intimidating leader whose principles mirror the barren wasteland around him. Amidst this harsh environment teeming with danger and scarcity, Max must navigate treacherous encounters while battling to protect his fragile community from Humungus' brutal ambitions.
