Liar x Liar

Minato, a university student who struggles with a fear of germs and eschews conventional beauty norms, shares an unusual living situation with her stepbrother Toru. Despite their close proximity due to remarriage, the two have managed to maintain a delicate boundary - Toru agrees not to approach Minato within two meters when they are outside. This balance is upended when Minato reluctantly wears makeup and her friend's high school uniform for an outing. To her surprise, she encounters Toru in public, and feeling embarrassed by her unusual appearance, she fabricates a story about being a high school student. Shockingly, this deception ignites a romantic spark between them as Toru falls deeply in love with Minato at first sight. The movie explores themes of self-discovery, familial relationships, and the complexities of human connection as these two individuals navigate their unexpected feelings for each other under the constraints of their shared past and current circumstances.
