The film tells the poignant story of Maggie, a woman who has faced numerous struggles in her life. After having four children taken away by social services as a result of an abusive relationship, she finds herself at a crossroads when she encounters Jorge, a kind-hearted Latin American refugee. As their relationship blossoms, it becomes clear that Maggie sees a glimmer of hope for happiness with him.
