Lady in the Water

Cleveland Heep, an unassuming apartment building superintendent, stumbles upon an extraordinary situation when he rescues someone he believes to be a young woman from his pool. To his surprise and delight, she reveals herself as a character from a bedtime story, on a quest to return to her own world. Intrigued by this magical encounter, Heep decides to extend his help and enlists the aid of his quirky tenants to shield the bewildered visitor from the malevolent creatures that relentlessly pursue her in their attempt to keep her captive within our reality. Together, they form a close-knit community bound by their shared determination to protect this fantastical guest, unveiling layers of humanity and friendship along the way.
